Clean Power in Wollongong & the Illawarra
We have installed for more than 1,000 households across the Illawarra and the South Coast, our largest single region.
Unanderra is where Clean Power started in 2017, and it is still our largest hub. That matters more than it sounds: the crew fitting your system is based minutes from Wollongong rather than driving down the M1, and in a region this size a bad install becomes common knowledge within a week. Most of our early work came from word of mouth in the northern suburbs, which is a very unforgiving way to grow.
Endeavour Energy is the distributor across most of the Illawarra and the South Coast, and its export limits and connection approval timelines are things we deal with every week rather than look up. The escarpment also throws real afternoon shade across a lot of the northern suburbs, which changes where panels should go on streets like Thirroul, Austinmer and Bulli. It is the sort of thing a design done from an aerial photo misses.
Our biggest concentrations of work are Albion Park, Horsley, Dapto and Woonona rather than the Wollongong CBD, which tells you something about where the roofs are. South of there we cover Shellharbour and Kiama, and down the coast to Nowra, Bomaderry, Sanctuary Point and Ulladulla.
We assign the certificates and lodge the scheme paperwork, so any discount you qualify for is already in the price you are quoted.
