Family run since 2017, and still answering our own phones.
We started as electricians who thought solar was being sold badly. Ten thousand installs later, the model has not changed: our own designers, our own installers, our own support team.
We started because solar was being sold badly.
Clean Power Australia was founded in 2017 by electricians who kept getting called out to fix other people’s work. Systems sized to hit a price point rather than a household’s actual usage. Installers who were gone by the time the first bill arrived. Warranties held with brands that had no presence in the country.
We thought the problem was not the technology. It was who was selling it, and what happened after the invoice was paid.
So we built the business we would have wanted to buy from. Our own designers. Local SAA accredited installers we actually know. An aftercare team that is separate from sales, so nobody trying to help you is also trying to sell you something.
What makes us different in practice
Every solar company says it cares about service. Here is what that actually means day to day, and what you can hold us to.
-
Local SAA accredited installers on every job
Your system is fitted by SAA accredited installers working to Australian standards. SAA accreditation is an individual qualification, and it is what your system needs to qualify for STC rebates.
-
The person who quotes stays with the job
Your consultant does not hand you off after signing. They see the install through to switch-on, which is a strong incentive not to promise things the install team cannot deliver.
-
We size to your usage, not to a price point
We look at how and when you actually draw power rather than dividing a quarterly bill by ninety. That sometimes means quoting a smaller system than you expected.
-
We will tell you when solar is not worth it
Heavily shaded roofs, imminent moves, some strata situations. We lose a handful of sales a year to this and it is the right call every time.
-
Rebates are in the price, not a surprise later
We assign the STCs and lodge state scheme paperwork before you sign, so the number you see is the number you pay.
Six hubs, four states
We work out of real premises in the regions we serve, with local teams who know the network rules, roof types and approval timelines in your area.
