New Battery Rebate in NSW: Maximize Your Solar Savings with the Latest Incentives

October 11, 2024 2 min read

What is the NSW Battery Rebate?

Starting 1 November 2024, homeowners and small businesses in NSW can benefit from new battery incentives designed to enhance the value of your solar energy system. The NSW Government has launched these incentives under the Peak Demand Reduction Scheme (PDRS), aiming to reduce peak electricity demand, stabilize the grid, and support the transition to a more sustainable energy future.

How Does the Battery Rebate Work?

At Clean Power Australia, we’re here to help you navigate these new incentives and maximise your savings. If you’re eligible, you can receive significant financial support to install a battery or connect your existing one to a Virtual Power Plant (VPP). Here’s how we can help you take advantage of these offers:

Installation Incentive: You could receive between $1,600 to $2,400 off the upfront installation costs of a battery for your home or business, depending on the battery size. We at Clean Power Australia ensure that you get the best deal by helping you select the right battery for your needs.

VPP Connection Incentive: Additionally, you can earn between $250 to $400 for connecting your battery to a VPP. This incentive is available twice, with a minimum of three years between claims. Clean Power Australia makes it easy for you to connect to a VPP and start saving.

For those without a solar system, we offer comprehensive packages that include the rebate as part of your new solar and battery installation. This makes it easier than ever to start your journey towards energy independence with Clean Power Australia.

Why Choose Clean Power Australia for Your Battery Installation?

By partnering with Clean Power Australia, you’re not just installing a battery; you’re investing in a more reliable and stable energy future. With our expertise, we ensure that your battery system is optimized to reduce your electricity bills and contribute to a cleaner environment.

How We Make the Rebate Process Easy

To access these incentives, it’s crucial to work with an accredited supplier like Clean Power Australia. We’re experienced in navigating the complexities of the rebate process, ensuring you get the maximum benefit with minimal hassle.

When you choose Clean Power Australia, you’re choosing a trusted Aussie partner who handles everything from installation to connecting your battery to a VPP, ensuring you receive the full rebate and ongoing support.

The new battery rebate in NSW offers an incredible opportunity to maximise your solar savings and Clean Power Australia is here to help you every step of the way. Whether you’re installing a new battery or connecting an existing one to a VPP, our team is dedicated to making the process seamless and rewarding. Don’t miss out on these generous incentives. Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Clean Power has got us up and running with a great new battery system that is working perfectly - I can’t see that we’ll need to buy electricity again any time soon! Olivia, in particular, did a great job as our consultant, warmly fielding all our questions and getting back to us super quickly with extra information and specialist advice when it was needed. Thank you!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really happy with the whole experience from start to finish. Caitlin was fantastic to deal with throughout the process. She took the time to answer all my questions, explained the different options clearly and never made me feel pressured into making a decision. The installation of the Sigenergy battery and additional solar was also handled professionally. The installers did a great job, were tidy, knowledgeable and took the time to make sure everything was set up and working properly. A big thanks to Caitlin and the installation team for making the whole process easy. Very happy with the system and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking at solar or battery storage.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We’ve just had a solar system installed by Clean Power Australia. We did a lot of research and asked a lot of questions, and Caitlin was fantastic throughout. She was very responsive, professional and never pushy, and she answered every question promptly and clearly. We compared several providers, and it was Caitlin’s professionalism that got Clean Power Australia across the line for us. We’d happily recommend both her and the team. We’re confident the aftercare will be just as good

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently had cause to contact Clean Power regarding my solar installation and was referred to Renae Marskell. Renae was extremely helpful and clearly demonstrated a high level of subject-matter knowledge. Her professionalism and strong drive to secure a satisfactory outcome for me - as a customer - was very much appreciated. It reflects very well on Clean Power as a company. I don't know your staffing structure, however if at all possible, I would consider making her a team leader, as (even from my limited exposure to her) I am confident that she would inspire her team to a similar high standard of customer service

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Second time with Clean Power Australia. This time added a third battery pack. Teagan was very helpful and attentive to the whole process including liaising with the loan company for an interest free loan. Installer arrived when arranged and had the battery installed quickly.
