ACT Sustainable Household Scheme

The ACT Government has committed $150 million to deliver zero-interest loans, in partnership with Brighte, under the sustainable Household Scheme. The programme is designed to support ACT residents to make upgrades to their home using sustainable products and reducing energy usage and costs.

Eligible households have the opportunity to borrow up to $15,000 for rooftop solar, battery storage or to upgrade outdated gas appliances to electric. This will reduce greenhouse gases and support ACT’s contribution to achieving Net Zero by 2045.
