Choosing the wrong battery is a ten-year mistake.
A battery is not a purchase you revisit next year. It sits on your wall for a decade, and the difference between a good one and a cheap one shows up in every bill, every blackout and every warranty call. Which is why it is worth knowing what the people who install them for a living actually put on their own houses.

Questions homeowners ask us
How much does a SigenStor cost?
It depends on how many modules you need and what your switchboard and roof look like, so we will not quote a number we would have to walk back. What we can tell you is that the federal rebate comes off before you pay, and the quote is free and carries no obligation. Most quotes take one short call and a look at a recent bill.
Can I start small and add more later?
Yes, and this is one of the reasons we recommend it. Every module has its own DC optimiser, so you can add modules of a different age and state of health later without dragging the whole stack down to the weakest one. Up to six modules sit under a single Energy Controller.
Will it keep the house running in a blackout?
With the Sigen Energy Gateway, yes, switching over in zero milliseconds. You can back up the whole house or nominated circuits. The gateway is a separate unit that we quote as part of the design, and our commissioning checklist includes a simulated outage so you watch it work before we leave.
Do I have to already have solar?
No. We fit SigenStor as part of a new solar and battery system, or alongside panels you already have. The Energy Controller is the solar inverter as well, so on a new system it replaces a separate inverter.
Is there any cost or obligation to get a quote?
No. The form costs nothing and takes about 30 seconds. If it looks like a fit, we come back with a free, no-obligation quote, and you can walk away at any point.
What happens after I submit the form?
One of our consultants comes back to confirm a few details about your home and your energy use, then puts together a no-obligation quote with the rebate already applied. No cost, no pressure.
Who handles a warranty claim?
We do. Ten year warranty on the SigenStor, lodged and handled by our team. Our support team can see your install record and diagnose most faults remotely, and Sigenergy’s North Sydney service team is a phone call from ours. You deal with the people who installed it, not a manufacturer overseas.
See what a SigenStor would cost on your place
It takes about 30 seconds to ask, there is no obligation to proceed, and one of our consultants will size the modules, the controller and the backup to your usage.
Rebate figures are indicative and confirmed on your quote. Cheaper Home Batteries Program rules and values are set by the Commonwealth and change by installation date.
