The 12-Year Warranty Battery. Now More Affordable Than Ever.
Get a Hinen battery with the Federal Battery Rebate and discover how much your home could save.
Covered for 12 years, two more than most home batteries. One battery covers the evening for most households on solar you stored during the day, and there’s a fire extinguisher built into the case.
Twelve year warranty is the standard term on the Hinen battery under Hinen’s Australian warranty policy. Nothing to buy, nothing to register, nothing to renew.

You are not buying a battery. You are buying the next twelve years.
Plenty of batteries look the same on a quote. The difference shows up in year eight, when the warranty runs out on one of them and not the other. Hinen does the core job of a home battery properly and does not charge a premium for features most households never use.

Get My Hinen QuoteHinen: covered for longer, and built to be safer
Two things set a Hinen battery apart on a quote: twelve years of warranty as standard, and a fire extinguisher inside the case that is normally only found in commercial systems.
- Twelve years, not an optional extra
It is the standard term on the Hinen battery. Nothing to buy, nothing to register, nothing to renew. Two years longer than most of what it sits next to on a comparison sheet.
- Handled by us, not by you
Our Australian support team can see your install record, diagnose most faults remotely, and lodge the claim with Hinen Australia on your behalf. You deal with the people who installed it.
- Fitted since the brand arrived here
Our crews have been installing Hinen storage since its early days in Australia. Hinen’s own explainer on virtual power plants credits Clean Power Australia’s installations with bringing the Powow VPP to New South Wales.
- Five layers of fire protection
Full-coverage temperature monitoring, a management system that cuts out on over-temperature, over-current and over-voltage, a built-in DC breaker, an internal aerosol extinguisher and a pressure release valve.
The Hinen battery. Serious storage, without the premium.
A single 14.4 kWh battery covers the evening for most households, and up to six run in parallel.

Questions homeowners ask us
How much does a Hinen battery cost?
It depends on how many batteries you need and what your switchboard looks like, so we will not quote a number we would have to walk back. What we can tell you is that the federal rebate comes off before you pay, and the quote is free and carries no obligation. Most quotes take one short call and a look at a recent bill.
Is twelve years really the standard warranty?
Yes. It is the standard term on the Hinen battery, not an extended warranty you buy on top. There is nothing to register and nothing to renew, and claims are lodged and handled by our team.
Is 13.68 kWh enough for my house?
For most households a single battery covers the evening, which is where the savings are. If your usage is higher, up to six run in parallel for 86.4 kWh. Your consultant will size it against a recent bill rather than guessing.
Will it fit? I do not have much space.
Often yes where others will not. At 179.5 mm deep it sits flat against a wall, and it is IP65 rated so it can go indoors or outdoors, including a side passage.
Is there any cost or obligation to get a quote?
No. The form costs nothing and takes about 30 seconds. If it looks like a fit, we come back with a free, no-obligation quote, and you can walk away at any point.
What happens after I submit the form?
One of our consultants comes back to confirm a few details about your home and your energy use, then puts together a no-obligation quote with the rebate already applied. No cost, no pressure.
Can it join a VPP?
Yes. Every Hinen system we install is Powow VPP ready from day one if you choose it, with credits paid for the energy your battery supplies during grid events. It is entirely optional.
See what a Hinen battery would cost on your place
It takes about 30 seconds to ask, there is no obligation to proceed, and one of our consultants will size the battery to your usage and walk you through the numbers.
Rebate figures are indicative and confirmed on your quote. Cheaper Home Batteries Program rules and values are set by the Commonwealth and change by installation date.
