NSW Solar & Battery, Done Properly. Now More Affordable Than Ever.
Get solar and a battery with the federal rebates applied to your quote, and discover how much your home could save.
Aiko panels, voted Best Solar Panel at the 2026 SolarQuotes Installers’ Choice Awards, with Sigenergy or Hinen storage. Both rebates come off the quote rather than being claimed back later.
Installers’ Choice Awards 2026, Best Solar Panel: Aiko, with 28% of the vote from 125 SolarQuotes-vetted installers. We fit the Aiko Neostar 3P54 from that range. Solar is discounted through the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme and batteries through the Cheaper Home Batteries Program. Both are set by the Commonwealth and change with your installation date, and the exact figures are confirmed on your quote.

Electricity is the one bill that rises without you touching a thing.
Every quarter you stay fully grid-connected, you buy power at retail rates during the hours your roof could have been generating it for nothing. Doing nothing is not neutral. It is a decision to keep paying whatever the retail rate becomes, on a bill with no ceiling.
Solar cuts the daytime bill, a battery covers the 4pm to 9pm peak
Both federal rebates come off your quote, not claimed back later
Aiko Neostar panels, with a 30 year performance warranty
Whole-home backup available, so the house runs through a blackout
See what solar and a battery would cost your place, in under 2 minutes.
No obligation, no pressure. Just a few details so our team can size a system to your roof and your usage, and price it properly.
-
No cost, no obligation
The quote costs nothing and the form takes about 30 seconds. If it looks like a fit, a consultant comes back with a firm price. You can walk away at any point.
-
The rebates are applied before you pay
We assign the certificates for both solar and the battery and take the value straight off your quote. You do not claim anything back later.
-
No catch, just criteria
Your roof orientation, shading, switchboard and evening usage all change the design and the price. That is what the call establishes before anyone quotes a number.
Let's start with the basics
No obligation. Takes about 30 seconds.
Rebate amounts are indicative and confirmed on your quote.
- No spam calls
- No obligation to proceed
From eligibility check to install in 3 easy steps
No jargon, no pressure. Just a clear path to solar and storage on your place, with the federal rebates taken off up front.
-
Check your eligibility
Answer a few quick questions about your home and suburb. Most people are done in under two minutes.
-
We design it and show you the numbers
A consultant looks at your roof orientation, your shading and how you actually use power, then comes back with a layout, sizing and the rebates already applied.
-
We install and hand over
Our SAA accredited installers fit it, usually in a single day, and we handle the grid connection and the rebate paperwork for you.
Two rebates, both taken off your quote
Solar and storage are discounted through two separate federal schemes. We assign the certificates for both and take the value straight off the price, so there is nothing to claim back and no forms to chase.
Two Hinen batteries, 28.8 kWh
to $6,000 off your quote
- Your solar earns certificates too
A rooftop system earns small-scale technology certificates based on the power it is expected to generate. We assign them and take the value off the quote, with no means test and no application form.
- Both rebates shrink over time
The solar certificate count drops every 1 January through to 2030, and the battery discount steps down every six months. Each is set by your installation date, not your order date.
Most households put off solar and a battery because they never find out what it would actually cost them. Two minutes fixes that.
Get My Free QuoteSolar pays for the daytime
Every hour of sun is power you are not buying at retail rates. The panels are the part you cannot change later without taking the system apart, so this is the one we fit as standard.
- Best Solar Panel, Installers’ Choice 2026
SolarQuotes asked 125 vetted installers which panel they would put on their own house. Aiko took it with 28% of the vote, for the second year running. We fit the Neostar 3P54 from that range.
- Independently tested, and Tier 1
A PVEL 2026 Top Performer on the PV module reliability scorecard, and a BloombergNEF Tier 1 manufacturer. Tested for salt mist, ammonia, hail, sand and dust.
- 490W at 25.0% peak efficiency
Third-generation ABC cell technology, with a temperature coefficient of −0.26%/°C, which matters on an Australian roof in February. Half-cut cells for better shade tolerance.
- 25 year product, 30 year performance warranty
Degradation of 1% or less in the first year, then 0.35% a year after that, so output holds up over the life of the system.
A battery pays for the evening
Solar alone still leaves you buying power after dark, which is when the house is busiest. You export the surplus for a few cents at midday and buy it back at four or five times that from five o’clock.
- It covers the 4pm to 9pm peak
Most households use the bulk of their power after the sun goes down. That is the part of the bill solar on its own cannot touch.
- The house keeps running in a blackout
A battery alone shuts down with the grid for safety, which is a legal requirement rather than a fault. With a backup gateway it keeps going, and we test that with a simulated outage before we leave.
- It earns while it sits there
Spare capacity can join the Powow VPP and be paid for the energy it supplies during grid events. Entirely optional, and it does not change how the system runs day to day.
- Sigenergy or Hinen, and we fit both
Your consultant will tell you which suits your place rather than defaulting to one. Sizing matters more than brand, and the federal rebate can only be claimed once per property.
Together they cover the whole day
Panels make it, the battery holds it, and you stop buying at retail rates in both directions. Sized properly, most of our customers are left paying little more than the daily connection fee.

Questions homeowners ask us
How much does solar and a battery cost?
It depends on your roof, your switchboard and how much of the evening you want covered, so we will not quote a number we would have to walk back. What we can tell you is that both federal rebates come off before you pay, and the quote is free and carries no obligation. Most quotes take one short call and a look at a recent bill.
Can I start with solar and add a battery later?
Yes, and plenty of people do. It is worth telling your consultant up front, because the inverter we choose now decides how easy the battery is to add later. Bear in mind the battery rebate steps down every six months.
Will it keep the house running in a blackout?
Only with a backup gateway. A battery on its own shuts down with the grid for safety, which is a legal requirement rather than a fault, and plenty of people only find that out during their first outage. We quote the gateway as part of the design and test it with a simulated outage on install day.
How long does the install take?
Solar is usually a single day, with the app set up before we leave. Adding a battery and a backup gateway means switchboard work, which we plan before install day so there are no surprises.
Do you handle the rebates and the paperwork?
Yes. We assign the certificates for both solar and the battery, take the value off your quote, and lodge the grid connection application and export limit paperwork. You do not claim anything back.
What about feed-in tariffs?
They have fallen a long way and are not coming back. That is the argument for storing your surplus rather than exporting it: without a battery you sell power at a few cents at midday and buy it back at four or five times that after five.
Is there any cost or obligation to get a quote?
No. The form costs nothing and takes about 30 seconds. If it looks like a fit, we come back with a free, no-obligation quote, and you can walk away at any point.
See what solar and a battery would cost on your place
It takes about 30 seconds to ask, there is no obligation to proceed, and a local consultant will size it to your roof and your evening.
Rebate figures are indicative and confirmed on your quote. Program rules and values are set by the Commonwealth and change by installation date.
